Dream Wedding Venues

Ever since I announced that I was offering wedding photography, I’ve always wondered about the amazing venues I would get to visit/photograph! I put together fourteen venues that stuck out to me while scrolling through the Instagram world. These venues vary from elegant rooftop city spaces to vineyards and classical Greek and Roman architecture! Some of these venues are fairly close to the Bucks County/Philadelphia area and some are further south and west! The venues below are very high on my bucket list and my goal is to check off at least half of them in the next couple years!

I don’t have any photographs of these venues yet but I’ve linked all of the titles if you’re interested in learning more!

The first two venues are both less than 7 miles from my house so that makes them so much better!

Cairnwood Estate (Bryn Athyn, PA)

Cairnwood Estate was designed by Carrère and Hastings in the Beaux Arts style. The meticulous decorative elements blend influences from classical Greek and Roman architecture with French Renaissance ideas. The exterior of Cairnwood shows a mixture of rustic elements and high style. The overall effect is that of a majestic French chateau adapted to the conditions and requirements of American life during the Gilded Age.

Tyler Gardens (Newtown, PA)

The four-tier Formal Gardens were influenced by French and Italian gardens and feature varieties of flora, beautiful lush lawns, dramatic stone walls and staircases, gravel walks, fountains, and bronze sculptures. Tyler Gardens is located behind the Tyler Mansion at Bucks County Community College! BCCC is where I took my first photography course and earned my associate degree in photography!

Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts (Philadelphia, PA)

At the top of the Kimmel Center, your guests enjoy breathtaking views of the Philadelphia skyline from the Garden, one of the city’s most stunning private event spaces. I love the architecture and all of the natural light pouring in from the rooftop!

Front and Palmer (Philadelphia, PA)

Front & Palmer is a former barrel factory in the South Kensington Art District, remade into a modern event site.

Park Chateau (East Brunswick, NJ)

Nestled midway between Manhattan and Philadelphia on 15 rolling acres, the Park Château Estate & Gardens is a beautiful wedding venue and event hall. This elegant wedding venue allows its visitors to step into the pages of a classic French Novel by embracing the gorgeous architecture of the time and capturing the essence of romance. I am obsessed with this venue and it will be my preferred wedding venue if I ever get married myself! 🙂

Bonnet Island Estate (Manahawkin, NJ)

The estate features a quaint timber-framed Boathouse Chapel with a white interior and exposed beams.

The Ryland Inn (Whitehouse Station, NJ)

The Ryland Inn envelopes you and your guests in their elegant estate setting surrounded by a rich history of equestrian tradition and farm fresh ingredients.

Greenville Country Club (Wilmington, DE)

Greenville Country Club is located approximately 10 miles west of Wilmington, Delaware in the rolling hills of Northern Delaware. The Clubhouse building was originally the residence of Eugene du Pont and was the centerpiece of his 220-acre estate. This venue would be my second choice for my own wedding!

Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards (North Garden, VA)

Located in the Monticello AVA (American Viticultural Area) with pristine valley views, Pippin Hill Farm is a member of the Virginia Winery Association and the Monticello Wine Trail.

Biltmore Estate (Asheville, NC)

Biltmore Estate is a large private estate and tourist attraction located in Asheville, North Carolina. Biltmore House, the main residence, is a Châteauesque-style mansion built by George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895 and is the largest privately owned house in the United States.

Belle Meade Plantation (Nashville, TN)

Belle Meade Plantation provides the backdrop of a historic farm setting framed in beautiful flowering gardens and an 1853 mansion, all with the convenience of the location, sitting right in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is one of my favorite cities ever, and I am always down to book another trip to Tennessee!

Disney’s Wedding Pavilion (Lake Buena Vista, FL)

Nestled on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon on its own private island, Disney’s Wedding Pavilion is the perfect place to bring to life the fairy tale wedding of your dreams.  And hello?! ITS DISNEY!

The White Sparrow (Quinlan, TX)

The white barn’s rustic charm is breathtaking in its idyllic natural setting amidst impressive oaks and lush gardens. This vintage Dallas wedding venue is a charming gem tucked away in the natural landscape of Union Valley.

The Resort at Pelican Hill (Newport Coast, CA)

Its classical roots are evident in the soaring dome and precisely tapered columns while the glazed terra cotta tiles and stunning ocean and sky views are pure Pelican Hill. Set on a picturesque rise slightly apart from the rest of the Resort, its drama and simplicity has made it an unforgettable backdrop for one of life’s most important celebrations.
