I am so excited to share Julianne and Peter’s Engagement Session on the blog today!
Julianne + Peter’s Story
Right out of college, Julianne starting working at La-Z-Boy Furniture as a part time sales associate where Peter was also working in the same department! Julianne had seen him in passing and quickly developed a crush on him – which lead her to avoiding him! Julianne couldn’t even make eye contact and only talked to him when she had to because she thought he was so cute! Julianne would get all shy and start to blush! (How cute!) Eventually, one day while they were working together, Peter came over and just started talking to her and she was just so intrigued by him that she knew she wanted to spend more time with him. As time went on, they did indeed start to spend more time together and eventually started dating!
Peter had planned to take off a whole weekend and planned a trip to Longwood with Julianne, Pete’s brother and his fiance (they knew Pete’s plan!). Shortly after they got there, Julianne mentioned she wanted to see a specific garden, so the four of them all headed that way. Turns out, Pete had seen the same garden online and had already decided that was the spot where he was going to propose without Julianne even telling him she wanted to see that garden! Once they made it to the garden, Julianne walked off to take some pictures and when she turned around, Pete was down on one knee and he asked her to marry him! She said YES!
Before the proposal, Pete and Julianne had worked together to design her engagement ring. The diamond in the ring, is actually Pete’s great great grandmother’s that was originally in a brooch. They designed the ring together for it to reflect the brooch! How special!
I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this coming May at The Manor House at Commonwealth! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
