I am so excited to share Gill and Pat’s Engagement Session on the blog today!

Gill + Pat’s Story

Gill and Pat met in high school during a study hall! Pat walked into the study hall wearing a t-shirt from one of Gill’s family’s favorite pizza places from the town they previously lived in (East Norriton)! Gill and Pat started talking about the pizza place and realized they grew up right down the street from each other in East Norriton, and probably were at the pizza place together without even knowing it! They realized that they both came from big Italian families. One day, Pat invited Gill over to his Nana’s house to make cannolis, and they have been inseparable ever since! 

The Proposal!

Gill’s parents had been planning a family trip to the island of Santorini in Greece, and Pat knew that it would be so special to be able to propose to Gill in such a beautiful place in front of her family! Gill had actually planned a family photo session without knowing anything about Pat’s plans to propose. I guess you could say that in a way, Gill had an equal part in planning the proposal! 

They started the photo session as planned, and then when it was their turn to get some pictures with just Gill and Pat, Pat got down on one knee and asked Gill to marry him. Pat couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place for him and Gill to share that moment together –  from where they were standing you could see the entire island and sea in the background.

Pat said the whole day felt like a dream! 

I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this coming August at the Knowlton Mansion! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
