This has to be my FAVORITE blog post yet! It includes two of my favorite things, Fashion & Photography!!

I get a lot of questions from my seniors on what they should wear to their senior session. I send a detailed email of outfit examples and even share a Pinterest board of “What To Wear For Your Seniors Portraits” but I felt like there has to be a better way to share my fashion tips and help you put together a perfect outfit for your session! That’s when it hit me! I should put together a Fall Look Book!! The Look Book would be a collection of about five different outfit options, with links on where to buy and how to style them! I thought of this idea on Friday, searched through my own and my sister’s (Thanks Katie haha) closet Saturday, found a model, and shot the outfits on Sunday! When you have an idea about something your passionate about, it just clicks! I had so much fun putting this together and was thinking if this blog post is helpful, that this could be a seasonal post!

Fall Look #1

I love this look! If you don’t know by now, I have a thing for the color olive 🙂 This was a last minute outfit and I’m so glad I included it! When putting a great outfit together, you want to stick with solid colors. I love this cream tunic top, very simple but has a little detail with the ruffled hem. I’ve had this top for a couple of years so I don’t have a direct link for this exact top. I made a stop in Forever 21 this past weekend and found these olive colored pants for only $14.90….. I tried them on, and I was sold! I unfortunately cannot find a direct link on Forever 21’s website. To top this outfit off, I paired this look with some super cute ankle booties from Old Navy! I love the color and they are so versatile! Definitely a staple in my closet!

Fall Look #2

Another great look with solid colors and a statement piece! I bought the maroon Lush tunic top and Sole Society Cheetah Scarf at the end of last year at Nordstrom’s. I also bought the dark blue Paige Jeans at Nordstrom’s during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this past July. These items are a little on the pricey side but they are simple items that you can find elsewhere.

Fall Look #3

This look is more casual than the others. With this look, we are adding subtle textures with the beige striped tunic and olive colored cargo vest. This outfit is perfect for the Fall! I love to layer my outfits with vests, jackets, cardigans, etc.! The tunic is from Old Navy (I have it in black and white also!) for less than $17 and the cargo vest is from Target for less than $30! I purchased the statement necklace from Forever 21 earlier this year.

Fall Look #4

Here is a simple look for Fall! It has a country feel with the denim t-shirt dress look and the knee-high boots! I LOVE these boots! They are super cute and are so comfortable! I added this beautiful fringe statement necklace to finish this look! This dress is actually my sister Katie’s, that is from Target for less than $30! I purchased the necklace from an app called Poshmark. If you’ve never heard of Poshmark, you definitely should check it out! I have had my account since August of 2014 and sold many pieces of clothing from my own personal closet! It’s a great app to sell your gently used clothing at your own price and find great deals on other items!

Fall Look #5

My love for olive is so real!! This has to be one of my favorite fall looks! I also purchased this Olive Swing Dress at Forever 21 this past weekend for only $14.90! As for the scarf, I purchased it from a vendor shop at an expo that I attended earlier this year for around $20 bucks. This is a knock off version of the Zara Blanket scarf which has a similar price tag but harder to get your hands on.

Fall Look #6

The final look! This is by far, hands down, my favorite look! I love the maroon swing dress find from Old Navy (for less than $37!) and the faux fur vest from Target! All the colors blend really well together and make the perfect fall color palette! A simple accessory like the black felt hat from Forever 21 and a simple long necklace really complete the look!
