Katelyn + Bill’s Story

Katelyn and Bill met through a mutual friend at a local bar in Newtown, PA! In their free time Katelyn and Bill enjoy taking late night walks, playing a game of Yahtzee, and eating food! On weekends they love spending time up the mountains, hanging by the pool, and having a few drinks with friends!

The Proposal!

Katelyn and Bill have been going to Lake Harmony since they first started dating.  It’s always been their getaway spot. So it was only fitting that Bill would ask the most important question of his life at a place so special to them!

Katelyn thought her and Bill were going up to Lake Harmony to spend the weekend with friends- something they did regularly. Little did she know, everyone was in on the special surprise Bill had been planning for weeks. Both Katelyn and Bill were off from work that Friday, so they arrived a day early to spend the day alone since their friends were supposed to arrive Saturday. 
That Friday night, they took a walk along the lake before their dinner reservations at Nicks. As soon as they got to the edge of the water, Bill got down on one knee and popped the question! Katelyn said yes and before she knew it, they were surrounded by family, friends, and her best friend (me 🙂 ) photographing the entire moment! Katelyn said “Having everyone there to hug them after Bill popped the question, made the experience that much more special.  After the sun went down, fireworks filled the air and it was the perfect ending to the greatest day of our lives!”

Katelyn + Bill are tying the knot in September 2021! Here are some of my favorites from their proposal session!

She said YES!!

Kate and I have known each other for more than half of our lives and have gone through so many moments together and being able to photograph her proposal was the most special! I am so excited to see what life has in store for them! Congratulations again to the happy couple!
