I am so excited to share Ellen and Jimmy’s Engagement Session on the blog today!

Ellen + Jimmy’s Story

Ellen and Jimmy met through a friend at a Blink182 concert in 2011!  Fast forward a few months and a couple of Facebook messages later, Ellen and Jimmy officially became an item! This past July they celebrated their 7th anniversary!

The Proposal!

Ellen and Jimmy’s favorite place in the whole world is Clearwater Beach. They try and go at least twice a year. Last November, while they were on a trip there, they both somehow woke up early enough to see the sunrise. The balcony of their room overlooked the Gulf of Mexico and a marina; it was a beautiful sight. Jim came out to join Ellen on the balcony, but it was short lived because it was freezing outside! Ellen was about to head inside the room when Jim stopped her and said “wait El- look there’s a fish it keeps jumping out of the water” Ellen rolled her eyes and said “Ok let me see.” (She didn’t see any flying fish, lol) Next thing she knew Jim started telling her how much he loved her and his eyes were filling up. Ellen said “Are you ok?!” Jimmy then got down on one knee and the rest is history. It was perfect!!

I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this coming May at Bridgemen’s Ballroom! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
