I am so excited to share Katie and Sark’s Engagement Session on the blog today!

Katie + Sark’s Story

Katie and Sark met while they were in their sophomore year at college at a party and immediately hit it off! They had mutual friends so that is how they began talking. Fast forward 5 years later, they are engaged!

The Proposal!

Sark proposed this past July! Katie was convinced Sark would propose on their vacation a few weeks later in OBX but he really surprised her! They were planning to meet their friends on July 3rd (with having off the next day) at a beer garden near their house in Conshohocken. Katie got home from work and got ready and looking back now, she said Sark was so nervous! The temperature felt like it was in the 100s but somehow Sark convinced Katie to walk to the beer garden. They took a path that goes by the river and a boathouse that sits on it. Sark asks if they can take a picture (Katie said she should’ve known then, a guy wanting to take a picture willingly?? Unheard of!) So as they are about to take the picture, Sark gets down behind Katie on one knee and as she snaps the picture, she realized what is going on! Of course, she said yes! Sark then planned for their friends and family to meet them at a place up the street to celebrate! Katie said it was perfect, since she is hard to surprise and she loves that he threw her off of his plans completely! Plus, they were able to celebrate 4th of July newly engaged 🙂
