I am so excited to share Taylor and Nick’s Engagement Session on the blog today!

Taylor + Nick’s Story

Taylor’s cousin married one of Nick’s best friends in 2019 and they introduced Taylor and Nick to each other! Taylor and Nick had never met until after Taylor’s cousin and her now husband were engaged. Taylor’s cousin kept insisting that Nick would be a perfect match for Taylor. Taylor’s cousin and her husband picked both Taylor and Nick to be in their wedding party and walk down the aisle together and the rest was history! Taylor said her cousin was definitely right! 

The Proposal!

Nick went above and beyond getting people involved in the proposal without Taylor even knowing. Nick asked his uncle to call him and offer Nick and Taylor tickets for a tour of the Lincoln Financial Field where our favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles play. Nick conveniently had the phone on speaker so Taylor could hear and he took his uncle up on his offer for 4 tickets that upcoming weekend that he wasn’t able to use. Taylor’s cousin and her husband were planning to come up from New Jersey to spend time with them that weekend so they asked if they’d want to come on the tour with them. Taylor had no idea that they were already in on it so of course they said yes! The day came and Taylor and Nick met her cousin and her husband at the stadium and went on the tour. They toured the underground areas, the locker room, and next up was going out on the field. They played the music that the Eagles enter the field to and Nick told Taylor to run out first and he’d follow. When Taylor came out of the tunnel, she looked at the Jumbotron it said “Will you marry me, Taylor?” Taylor turned around and Nick was already down on one knee! Taylor said yes of course and her and Nick ran out onto the field together and took some pictures. Later on, Taylor found out that they actually did the tour backwards so she wouldn’t see what was on the Jumbotron at the beginning of the tour. Taylor was pretty speechless for the rest of the tour! It was a really special moment and Taylor was glad that the two people who set them up were there to witness it! 

I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next June at The Barn at Stoneybrooke! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
