I am so excited to share Emily + Jake’s Proposal Session on the blog today!

This past June in Stone Harbor, NJ. where Emily’s family has a beach house, Jake planned for a whole weekend around a surprise beach proposal. On Friday night right before Emily + Jake were heading out to meet up with their friends, Jake suggested they first take a walk on the beach.

While they were walking down the 114th street beach, Jake stopped and turned towards Emily and asked her to marry him! Emily said yes! They then headed down towards the water where Jake’s sister had set up a blanket, with glasses and a bucket of champagne! Jake + Emily popped the champagne and celebrated their engagement!

After the proposal, we took a few engagement portraits on the beach and the jetty before Emily + Jake’s family joined them on the beach! The happy couple and their families celebrated with popping more champagne and taking more pictures but the fun was just beginning! Emily’s mom and sisters brought a second outfit for her to switch into before they all headed over to Agave Tequila Bar in town to continue the celebrations!

Emily + Jake’s families decorated the top floor of Agave with photos of Emily + Jake from throughout their relationship, balloons, and more! It was an absolute pleasure to work with this couple and their families!
