I am so excited to share Sarah and John’s Proposal Session on the blog today!
Sarah + John’s Story
Sarah and John met while they were both attending Gwynedd Mercy University in their freshman year! They both shared a love for sports! John played baseball and Sarah played field hockey. They started dating in their sophomore year of college and have been together ever since! In their free time they love going to the beach! They also enjoy fishing with Sarah’s dad, taking the dogs out, visiting wineries, and of course, going to Eagles games! Go Eagles!
The Proposal!
It was a beautiful sunny day on Saturday, April 28, 2018! Sarah thought her and John would be spending the day walking around the city but John had something special planned! John works in the city and if the weather was nice, he would take his lunch breaks walking around the pier and thought this would be the most perfect spot to ask Sarah in marriage! They started their day walking and checking out the amazing views at Race Street Pier! Once they reached the edge, right under the Ben Franklin Bridge, John got down on one knee and proposed! I was right there to capture it all! After John proposed, we took some portraits at the pier and ended our session at the historic Elfreth’s Alley! After our session, they enjoyed their first drink as an engaged couple outside at Zavino! Then they walked to Rittenhouse Square and sat in the park soaking in all the engagement bliss! John had dinner reservations planned at Barclay Prime and then to end their special day they arrived home to a surprise engagement party with all of their closest family and friends!
Sarah and John are thinking of a Summer 2019 wedding!
She said YES!!
